npm install --save @ciscospark/common-timers

Usage

Works just like setTimeout and setInterval, but doesn't wedge a node process open.

import {safeSetTimeout, safeSetInterval} from '@ciscospark/common-timers';

const timer = safeSetTimeout(() => {}, 1000);

const interval = safeSetInterval(() => {}, 1000);
